Accessible Rooms

The hotel has eight fully accessible bedrooms located on the ground floor near reception and the other public areas. Half the rooms also benefit from having adjoining rooms for family or carers.

Features include:

• 1500 cm wide bed
• En suite bathroom consisting of specialist shower or bath, lowered hand basin with open front, grab rails near the toilet and shower and enough clearance for 5′ turning space
• Door view port at wheelchair level
• At least 32″ space on either side of the bed to allow for wheelchair
• Entry door minimum 32″ clear opening width to allow for wheelchair access 
• TDD / text telephone available for guest room use
• Visual fire alarm notification
• Closed caption TV or decoder available

In addition there are disabled parking spaces at the front of the hotel and the kerbs are cut at the main entrance and passenger drop off. The public restrooms on the ground floor are fully accessible and there is a lift to The Winterlake Suite conference room on the first floor and all the bedrooms.
